| Brods, Sis’, Families, and Friends: From the Brods, Sis’, myself, and our beautiful families here in Florida, we send our warmest greetings to you all!! I invite you now to ignite your imagination and awaken your senses as we prepare you for breathtaking ocean views, silky ocean breezes, aromas of first class international cuisine, and best of all the rushes of adrenaline from the excitement of exceptional camaraderie, never ceasing unity in Brotherhood, and tried and true spirit in Fellowship… UPSILON SIGMA PHI World Reunion “BarkoBarkada sa Florida 2010”. Bring your spouses, bring your children, and invite your friends! We will embark on a 4 day, 3 night cruise from Port Canaveral, Florida on the Royal Caribbean’s Monarch of the Seas vessel and each day will be packed with activities from rest & relaxation to sports and recreation. Best of all, there will be an abundance of fellowship, meeting, eating, and dancing! There will be something for everyone! Ports of disembarkation during the cruise will be at Nassau and Coco Cay for site seeing and exploring new cultures. Before or after the cruise you can spend time in Orlando with your families and friends at the world renowned amusement and theme parks: Disney World (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, etc.); Universal Studios/Island of Adventures; Sea World; Wet and Wild; and many others. You can also enjoy the abundance of Golf and/or Tennis at one of the many country clubs or resorts in the area. For our BarkoBarkada 2010 Souvenir Book, we are proud to announce a new concept created and spearheaded by Brod Piling Francia ’55. Brod Piling serves as the Chairman of the Souvenir Book Committee as well as the Editor-in-Chief of the book. Based on his vision, our Souvenir Book will highlight the accomplishments, big or small, of individuals or groups of Fellows, who have made a difference in the lives of others or society in general. This idea, of course, is based on our Credo’s concept of sincere fellowship among fraternity brothers who consider each other upright, self-respecting men, capable of growth and greater service to their fellowmen. We look forward to receiving submissions from Batches and/or the various Chapters around the world and hope that this can be the beginning of a new tradition to recognize our own ‘unsung heroes’ within our beloved Fraternity.
